Death of Environment…
I saw these wonderful talented youth perform this poem some time ago. I have been reflecting on life and death… Given my most recent post of links to articles on oscar grant, I thought it would be fitting to post this video. The most interesting thing about this poem is the way that the death of sean bell is paralleled with the death of the environment. The poem really brings out an important concept when thinking about the value that we as a society place on black men and the environment. What do you think?
